Below are some quick tutorials on how to manage some of the more basic aspects of this website. If you need more detailed help you can always click on the Journal Help link on the right hand sidebar.
How do I register?
You can register by clicking on "Register" on the site home page. You will be asked to create a username and password as well as fill in several pieces of information Some of this information will be required (indicated with an *) and other information is optional. You will at least be asked for your first and last name as well as an email acocunt. Your postal service mailing address is important as we will need to mail paper proofs of accepted manuscripts to you.
How do I submit an article?
- Log into the Journal
- Click on “User Home”
- Choose “Author” – this will bring you to “Active Submissions” queue.
- To submit a new article to the journal, click on “Click Here” under “Start a New Submission” – this will bring you to “Step 1: Starting the Submission”
- Choose which section of the Journal you want to submit to – pick from the drop down menu
- Under “Submission Checklist” make sure all of the items are agreed to and check them off
- Read the Copyright Notice and check off that you agree to it
- If you want to submit comments to the editors, enter them in the box provided
- Click “Save and Continue”
- On “Step 2: Enter Metadata” fill in all appropriate fields – make sure you provide required (*) items.
- Click “Save and Continue”
- On this page, click “Browse “(or Choose File) which opens a window for locating the file on the hard drive of your computer.
- Locate the file you wish to submit and highlight it.
- Click “Open” on the window, which places the name of the file on this page.
- Click “Upload” on this page, which uploads the file from the computer to the journal's web site and renames it following the journal's conventions. You should see a section on the page with “Submission File” with file info (name, original name, file size, and date uploaded)
- Once the submission is uploaded, click “Save and Continue” at the bottom of this page.
- For “Step 4: Upload Supplementary Files”, follow steps 12 through 16 if you have any additional files related to the article
- For “Step 5: Confirmation”, confirm that the file you uploaded is the file you want to submit. Click on “Finish Submission”
- You should get a screen that says “Submission is Complete”
