Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
- You will submit a 150 word (maximum) abstract in the space provided.
You will complete a short bio for yourself and all other authors, which will be used in the journal should your piece be accepted for publication. The bio should include, as appropriate:
- your position and title
- the organization(s) you represent or where you are employed
- your work or research interests
- a sentence or two of relevant professional or political activity or history and/or published works.
Your manuscript will not be sent for peer review if this is not provided.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is double-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end, per author guidelines.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
- You have included a formal acknowledgement of the funding source(s) for the work presented in the manuscript. If the work was done without funding, this should be stated.
